MitraLok – The Gethu ma
This is the name our home at Bangalore.There was lot of queries from friends of why you need to name for you home? Its simple, we wanted some identity to unite ourself and wanted to make everyday a memorable one at this home.
Mitralok – World of Friends with the Caption “The Gethu ma” is the name of our home. The event was for celebrating “Karthigai Deepam” as well.It was to showcase the cultural values of us to our other friends(also for us to know 
) Kandaplani explained the history and how we celebrate karthigai deepam.Around 35 friends had turned up for the event which gave us lots of joy.It was a mixture of friends from different parts of India.Everyone introduced each with their name, working place, native and how they are related (through whom they are related to the home).
We served them traditional Sakkarai Pongal,Sundal, they we all cut the cake bearing the name “MiraLok“.Had juice,snacks and sweets. Special thanks to Madhu and his for their first attempt in making sundal and also very special thanks to Nirmala(Pen Friend) who prepared Delicious Sakkarai Pongal. We had lot of chatting and fun. Around six pm we lit the lamps all over the home.The brightness of the light gave charm in every face.
